I just added the Hovering Hawks Quilt Block to MyWebQuilter.com .  Here are three versions colored with fabrics available on the Color Block page.         This block is a nine patch with half square triangles.  Rotating and flipping this block in a quilt give many beautiful variations.       The last one is using a stripped fabric.  Very cool quilt design.      

The Split Nine Patch Block has been added to MyWebQuilter.com Quilt Block Library .  This is a very simple block that is asymmetrical and into many interesting patterns.
