Well, we changed our minds on the design for the Thangles charity quilt. One of our guild members owns our local quilt shop (Quilts 'n Stuff). Despite a large selection of beautiful batiks, we just couldn't find a fabric for the on-point setting squares that worked.
Our new design uses a traditional quilt set and sashing. With the extra blocks that I constructed from scraps, sashing and wide borders, the quilt will be large enough.
MyWebQuilter.com came in handy! I used the computer at the quilt shop to quickly construct the new design. We could all see the design, make changes until we were happy and then print the picture and pattern - right at the store!
The MyWebQuilter.com quilt pattern gave us all the fabric requirements for the sashing, borders, backing and binding.
